Wall paper designs have come a long way.  I love these new paintable wallpapers because you can customize with different paint colors and there is a 3D effect on the wall.

I found these wall panels on one of my favorite blogs, The Contemporist.  Like the 3D paintable wallpaper listed above, these panels add a cool visual to the walls with the 3D effect.  They come in many different styles and also in sustainable wood panels.

As you can tell, I am a big fan of "things" protruding from the walls.  These are felt coverings for the walls.  They are made by artist Anne Kyyro Quinn and are considered art pieces by some as opposed to just wall coverings.

These tiles would add a sleek and unique finish to a kitchen backsplash or bathroom.  Since they are so expensive, I would only use a small portion as an accent effect.
