From the website:
Globus Cork tiles are unique for our 25 tile shapes and sizes which include rectangles, squares, hexagons and triangles. Any of our colours can be made in any of the tile shapes and sizes shown below. We've got more than 40 unique colours and are always developing more. For the greenest cork flooring, select the glue-down cork tiles. There is no off-gassing and no VOCs in the adhesive which is a water-based contact adhesive. If you are working on a LEED project or are just chemically sensitive, you'll want to use the glue-down cork tiles instead of cork floating floors. Our cork tiles are 3/16" thick or 4mm.

Cork is becoming a more popular choice for flooring because of its many beneficial characteristics, including being a "green" product with natural insect and mold repellent properties, noise reducing capabilities, comfort and softness, and beauty to name a few. With cork tiles, an attractive pattern can be laid which adds a lot of visual interest.

Marmoleum is another great environmentally friendly resilient flooring available these days. It is natural linoleum flooring that has no foul odors that off-gas, is "Asthma and Allergy Friendly" certified, and is also a SMART certified sustainable product. I think marmoleum would work well in both residential and commercial settings. It has natural bactericidal properties, does not stain, and is super easy to clean. We installed marmoleum click tiles in our kitchen 2 years ago and are very pleased with its performance.

Sheet vinyl flooring has been around for a long time and is still quite popular despite the many different kinds of resilient flooring available now. It wears extremely well, resists water, and is comfortable to walk on. Armstrong's sheet vinyl products come in numerous colors, patterns, and even designs that mimic natural stone and hardwood floors. I like this product because it is versatile, has lots of color and pattern options, and is very reasonably priced.

EverStrand carpet PET (polyethylene terephthalate) fibers are made from recycled plastic bottles in North America. This concept of recycling plastic bottles is fascinating to me and what I like about this product is that it consumes no petrochemical resources, utilizes the by-products from the manufacturing process, and makes a positive global impact.
